Peter Botten, AC, CBE

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Botten is an experienced executive, most recently as the Managing Director of Oil Search Limited (ASX: OSH) for over 25 years (retired in February 2020), during which time he oversaw its development into a major global energy company. He has extensive worldwide experience in the oil and gas and resources industries, having held various senior technical, executive and board positions in a number of listed and government-owned bodies. Mr Botten was also the Non-Executive Chairman of AGL Limited (ASX:AGL) from October 2016 until September 2022. He has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the Royal School of Mines at Imperial College London.

Mr Botten is currently a Non-Executive Director of Karoon Energy Limited (ASX:KAR) and Conrad Asia Energy Limited (ASX:CRD).

Bryan Quinn

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Quinn joined Aurelia Metals as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in June 2023.

In the 12 months prior to his appointment at Aurelia, Mr Quinn led the Growth, Strategy, Exploration, Sales and Marketing businesses at Oz Minerals.

Prior to this, Mr Quinn spent more than 27 years with BHP, where he held a series of senior executive, operational and business improvement roles. This included President Joint Ventures Americas and Africa, Global Chief Technical Functions, and various Asset President and general management roles, across a range of commodities and businesses.

Lyn Brazil

Non-Executive Director

Mr Brazil is a southern Queensland mixed farmer, investor and philanthropist. He has been awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) as part of the 2022 Queens Birthday Honours list for his service to medical research and agriculture.

Progressing from a small poultry farm on the Queensland New South Wales border to owning four cropping properties at Brookstead and two cattle operations at Goondiwindi, Mr Brazil boosts multiple successful investments in listed companies. He also created the Brazil Family Foundation which contributes to many medical and scientific research organisations.

Mr Brazil’s investment advisor, Mr Bradley Newcombe is Mr Brazil’s alternate director on the Aurelia Board. Mr Newcombe has over 25 years’ experience as an accounting and financial markets professional across treasury and fixed income and equities, and has acted as an advisor to Brazil Family Farming Pty Ltd since 2015.

Susie Corlett

Non-Executive Director

Following an executive career spanning mine operations, investment banking and private equity, Susie Corlett currently serves as a non-executive director of Mineral Resources Limited, is a non-executive director of Iluka Resources Ltd and is a Trustee of the AusIMM Education Endowment Fund.

A geologist, Susie’s background is in mining operations and exploration. She was most recently an Investment Director for global mining private equity fund following a career in mining project finance and credit risk management for Standard Bank Limited, Deutsche Bank and Macquarie Bank. Susie’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Geology) from the University of Melbourne. Susie is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and member of the AusIMM.

Bruce Cox

Non-Executive Director

Mr Cox has more than 40 years of global experience in the resources industry across the commodities of steel, platinum, iron ore, copper and diamonds. He has held senior financial and executive leadership positions, including Managing Director of Rio Tinto Diamonds where he had operational responsibility for the Argyle, Diavik, and Murowa mines, as well as the Bunder Development project in India.

As CEO of Pacific Aluminium and later Managing Director, Rio Tinto Aluminium Pacific Operations, Mr Cox was responsible for various smelter, alumina refinery and bauxite operations across Australia and New Zealand. He also worked for BHP in both the Minerals and Iron Ore divisions, including as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Escondida in Chile and CFO Hartley Platinum based out of Zimbabwe.

Mr Cox is an experienced Board member having held positions across a number of companies, including the ASX-listed Energy Resources Australia. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration from the University of Wollongong.

Bob Vassie

Non-Executive Director

Mr Vassie is a mining engineer with over 35 years of experience in management and operational roles within the global resources industry. Most recently, he was Managing Director and CEO of St Barbara Limited (ASX:SBM) from 2014 to 2020.

Prior to that, Mr Vassie was Managing Director and CEO of Inova Resources Limited (ASX:IVA). Preceding this, he held various senior management and operational roles across almost 20 years at Rio Tinto Limited (ASX:RIO).

Mr Vassie is currently the non-executive chairman of Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX:RMS) and a non-executive director of Federation Mining Pty Ltd.

Martin Cummings

Chief Financial Officer

Martin Cummings joined Aurelia Metals as Chief Financial Officer in December 2022.

Mr Cummings is a highly qualified mining executive with over 25 years of financial, commercial, treasury and investor relations experience.

Prior to joining Aurelia Metals, Mr Cummings held the position of General Manager Investor Relations with major Australian gold producer, Evolution Mining. Mr Cummings also held General Manager positions leading Evolution Mining’s commercial, treasury and project approvals activities.

Before joining Evolution, Mr Cummings held several senior positions with Newcrest Mining and Lihir Gold.

Mr Cummings holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), a Graduate Diploma of Corporate Governance and Risk Management and is a member of CPA Australia.

Andrew Graham

Chief Development and Technical Officer

Andrew Graham joined Aurelia Metals as General Manager – Growth in March 2022. In November the same year, Mr Graham was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer.

In September 2023, Andrew was appointed to his current position of Chief Development and Technical Officer.

Prior to joining Aurelia Metals, Mr Graham ran a successful consulting business, OCTAL Strategic, and held several executive and senior positions with MMG, Oz Minerals, Zinifex and BHP.

Rochelle Carey

General Counsel and Company Secretary

Rochelle Carey joined Aurelia Metals as Senior Legal Counsel in August 2020 and became General Counsel in August 2022 and Company Secretary in December 2022.

Ms Carey is a corporate lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in the legal sector, with a focus on energy and resources. Prior to joining Aurelia Metals, Ms Carey was in-house counsel at Stanmore Resources Limited, Energex Limited and Glencore. Prior to moving in-house, she was a Senior Associate at Allens Linklaters (formerly Allens Arthur Robinson).

Ms Carey holds a Bachelor of Business (International Business) / Bachelor of Laws (QUT) and a Master of Laws (LSE).

Angus Wyllie

General Manager Cobar Region

Mr Angus Wyllie joined Aurelia Metals in June 2021 as General Manager of Dargues Gold Mine and transitioned to General Manager Cobar Region in June 2024.

Mr Wyllie’s 22 years of mine site experience has been acquired in site-based roles across a range of metalliferous operations and mining methods in Australia and Canada. He has led large teams and been responsible for underground block cave and open pit mining operations, whole of site technical services, exploration and life of asset planning, capital projects and HSEC functions. He has a degree in mining engineering, a Master of Business Administration and a NSW Mining Engineering Manager competency.

Susan Scheepers

Group Manager People

Susan Scheepers joined Aurelia Metals as Human Resources and Training Manager in April 2022 and was appointed Group Manager People in May 2023.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resources), a Masters of Business Administration, and brings over 19 years’ resources industry experience to Aurelia Metals, having held a number of positions on site and in corporate offices in Australia and internationally.

Prior to joining Aurelia Metals, Susan held the position of General Manager People and Performance with Geopacific Resources, and the Group Human Resources Manager with St Barbara.
